Meme Culture is some thing that is always changing. whats popular one week can be a dead meme next week. there will always be new meme formats that anyone can use to make their own meme. meme culture is sometimes like a inside joke. But, most of the time you can just understand from reading. Most memes come from websites like Reddit or 4chan. I mostly look at memes on Reddit because of the different groups called sub-Reddits.
Each sub-reddit will have their own memes. like the pewdiepie sub-reddit will have jokes from his YouTube videos like the meme about him having no legs or his Minecraft videos
I feel like everyone loves memes because it lets them in on a joke and lets them join a community. but I mostly use them as something to pass the time
From what I have learned a meme is just a popular object or topic of the time. a mullet or parachute pants could count as a meme in the past. but google says a meme is an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation.
